Here's a few more panoramic backgrounds. I think they turned out better than the ones I've posted before. Have fun and put them to use. :)

A wasteland surrounded with mountains and glowing crystals spread around.
An endless horizon to fly on
Flying through a blue sky
Green fields with a mountain
 A snowy Landscape
A field in the night
A forest floor. (It isn't my best of the batch, but I'm sure someone can find a use for it)

New model just finished. :)
This one is called the Hell Razor. It's an usually an orbital bomber, but it does carry a high intensity, wide area Apollo beam generator to be used when near a planets surface. The Apollo beam basically obliterates anything under it, leaving nothing but a smoldering trench in its wake.

Hope you enjoy the picture!

Hey everyone.
Just finished a modeling job of a ship I designed several years back for a sci-fi story I was writting based on Lewis Carroll's poems. Here is the diplomat cruiser "Esquire" piloted by Captain J. Jones.
Usually used as a transport and meeting place for diplomatic discussions, the Esquire is heavily armed and sports massive W.A.B.E. (Wide Area Barren Emissions) generators which allows it to pull it's massive bulk through slip space. It can also use it's generators to propel others through slip space even when they are not equipped with W.A.B.E. generators themselves. As such, many you will frequently find large quantities of ships swarming around the Esquire, using it as a hub for long distance transportation.

Here's a few more works I wish to share. I've been building up a collection over time as I build new models and test them. Now it's time to share them!

Fire in the Alley
This was based on a drawing had done a few years ago. I Really wanted to see if I could replicate it in 3d and I was not disappointed by the result.

Alley Rats
Based on a scene from a story I'm working on called Reaper. The Creatures at the far end are called Dragon Rats, named so due to their leather-scale hide and their ability to breath fire.

Fine dining
A simple crystal glass

The Great Dining Hall...hall.
Based on another story I'm working on called Battle Mage, this is a progress shot of the hallway leading to the great banquet hall which starts right where the pillars end (I swear it does!).

Afternoon in Park Central
Another screen shot based on my Reaper story line. It's just a leisurely afternoon in the cities central park area.

Garrett Howell Productions Logo (prototype)
Still haven't decided on a personal logo to put in the beginning credits of my projects. Here's one such concept.

Pack Rats
A large pack of Dragon Rats on the hunt during a full moon. The idea just popped into my head one afternoon.

Briar Rose Logo
I was mostly just testing the new Cycles normal mapping in Blender, but I was quite pleased with the result of the test.

Reaper
Reaper seems to be my eternal character project as I'm never fully satisfied with how I've built his model. I must have designed and redesigned him eight or nine times in the past and I'm still tweeking the models. He is the hero of my Reaper story.

Logo Wallpaper
I actually had this as my background on my computer for a good long while. Just another attempt at a logo.

Tech Support
Q:So what do you get when the worlds greatest nano-tech expert gets bored?
A: Tech support
This is meant to be the tech support character of my Reaper series. Yes, it really is a fully automated A.I. Sock puppet.

Twin Line Pistols
For a while I drew Reaper wielding two pistols. I still haven't abandoned the idea, but I'm not really sure I support it either. In either case, the models (and the picture itself) turned out really well I think.

The Walrus and the Vorpal Sword
Based on yet another story I'm working on called the Jabberwalkie. It is a space story based on a reinterpretation of Lewis Carroll's poems. The Walrus can be seen in the background and is a blockade in and of itself. In the foreground is the experimental Sword, built by Vorpal Aerospace industries.

Hope you enjoyed!
